You don't know what XWIS is? XWIS is a community server created by Olaf van der Spek for several Westwood Studios games. Electronic Arts and Olaf started their collaboration a few years ago which led to the XWIS Server. This server is the reason why many players around the world are still able to play the good old C&C titles online with their friends. Hundreds of players are populating the ladders of Tiberian Sun, Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge each month.
But we want to see even more people on the old ladders. Therefore we're happy to announce that the 1on1 Red Alert 2 and RA2: Yuri's Revenge XWIS ladders will be supported with a monthly prize for each winner of the ladder. The winner will receive an EA download code for a PC game of his choice. And guess what - This July is the first prize supported month!!!
Now dig out your old C&C games and start to play online - again! You don't know how? Check out the How to play on XWIS section at the Strike-Team forum. Tiberian Sun will hopefully follow soon in terms of prize support, once the cheating issue has been resolved.
