About Kapoks
Knit's Disciples of the Apocalypse (also known as Kapoks) is an online-gaming battle-clan based in Europe. The clan is currently active playing CounterStrike Source, for which it regularly contests the seasonal ClanBase OpenCup tournaments.
Kapoks was established in 2002, on August 15th, under the leadership of Richard "The Knit" Knight. It achieved its greatest period of sustained success from 2003 to 2004 with a large, reputable member base and frequent recognition in competition on C&C Red Alert 2 and C&C Renegade, most notably in June 2004 when the Red Alert 2 regiment topped the XCC Community Ladder.
In more recent times, the clan has made a full conversion to playing only first-person shooters on a full-time basis. The Enemy Territory: Quake Wars clan regiment acquired Kapoks' first major competitive honours in over four years with successful tournaments in ClanBase's Summer 2008 and Spring 2009 seasons.
