"A lot of great moments" - Zenix

Regiment leader of the now disbanded Kapoks.ETQW clan, Zenix, recalls the memorable events of the last 18 months that shaped his experience with the clan.

"We had loads of funny moments when we started," he said, "with me, Friokir, Gungy, Maggot, Kipster, Rezta and Nextor, because we were all new to the game."

"Kapoks.ETQW almost died when Friokir, Nextor and Gungy went inactive because of real life, but Bangor, Cattle and Frusty saved us then Amigo and Orrie joined so the core team was ready."

"Winning ClanBase's second league SummerCup was really good, that was an example of the team staying together and practising to get good together, going from the one of the worst teams to one of the best."

"The best thing for me is to see that everything in a match is going smooth after putting a lot of work into it. Just seeing the tactics and teamplay all working together. That felt the best for me, as team leader."

Kapoks.ETQW completed 48 battles in total, winning 30 of them and collecting 2 major honours in the process.

Kapoks.ETQW took third place in the finale of ClanBase's 6v6 OpenCup. Victory over Italian clan O-Zon3rs sees high-level competition in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars off in fitting style with a closely fought encounter.

Wolfenstein release date announced

Developers Activision have announced the Summer release date of upcoming first-person shooter, Wolfenstein. The sequel to 2001's Return to Castle Wolfenstein will arrive in North America on August 4th and then in Europe just days later.
